Instructor Shannon Vital
Instructor
Shannon C. Vital is new to the Martial Arts training arena, but has been
captivated by the various styles and disciplines as well as the heritage of the
arts for over two decades. Shannon has shown great promise and dedication since
becoming a member of Keishidojo almost two years ago.
Since then he has rapidly climbed the Martial Arts pillar and attained
Black belts in over 4 different styles, as well as being the Captain of the
Elite Keishidojo Demonstration Team.
Shannon is Keshidojo’s first trained Black belt in more than one style.
Alongside Shidoshi Olsen, Shannon has helped a lifelong dream become a
reality, by opening the very first official Martial Arts Unlimited Association
school the Keishidojo Martial Arts & Fitness Center.
Shannon
left Texas in 1998 after being raised there his whole life and headed off to the
United States Air force and started an active and promising career as an Air
Traffic Controller in Las Vegas Nevada.
While stationed there Shannon worked
part-time for a security company responsible for the safety and security of
Music artist as well as celebrities, Such as R.Kelly, Tim McGraw, David Spade,
and
Sylvester Stallone
and many more.
After
controlling more than 100,000 separate aircraft, ranging from the B-52, to the
German Migg-29, and to the newly acquired F-22, in the four years he was
stationed there, Shannon sought out to attain another challenge.
Switching career fields and moving to Sumter SC, Shannon now possessed the skills to become a certified
network infrastructure technician.
During this time Shannon completed his Associates Degree in 3 different areas,
as well as graduating with honors and being awarded a Bachelors Degree in
Engineering Management from Grantham University.
While being
stationed in Sumter SC, Shannon’s desire and intrigue with UFC, and Brazilian
Jiu-Jitsu, led him to find Chief Instructor Olsen who actively molded and shaped
him into the up-and-coming shining martial art star he has become.
Through rigorous training and dedication, Shannon also helped promote the
first multi-school seminar and demonstration in Sumter SC, as well as being one
of the founding members in the South Carolina Martial Arts Association.
