Instructor Shannon Vital

Instructor Shannon C. Vital is new to the Martial Arts training arena, but has been captivated by the various styles and disciplines as well as the heritage of the arts for over two decades.   Shannon has shown great promise and dedication since becoming a member of Keishidojo almost two years ago.  Since then he has rapidly climbed the Martial Arts pillar and attained Black belts in over 4 different styles, as well as being the Captain of the Elite Keishidojo Demonstration Team.  Shannon is Keshidojo’s first trained Black belt in more than one style.  Alongside Shidoshi Olsen, Shannon has helped a lifelong dream become a reality, by opening the very first official Martial Arts Unlimited Association school the Keishidojo Martial Arts & Fitness Center.

Shannon left Texas in 1998 after being raised there his whole life and headed off to the United States Air force and started an active and promising career as an Air Traffic Controller in Las Vegas Nevada.  While stationed there Shannon worked part-time for a security company responsible for the safety and security of Music artist as well as celebrities, Such as R.Kelly, Tim McGraw, David Spade, and Sylvester Stallone and many more.  After controlling more than 100,000 separate aircraft, ranging from the B-52, to the German Migg-29, and to the newly acquired F-22, in the four years he was stationed there, Shannon sought out to attain another challenge.  Switching career fields and moving to Sumter SC, Shannon now possessed the skills to become a certified network infrastructure technician.  During this time Shannon completed his Associates Degree in 3 different areas, as well as graduating with honors and being awarded a Bachelors Degree in Engineering Management from Grantham University.

While being stationed in Sumter SC, Shannon’s desire and intrigue with UFC, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, led him to find Chief Instructor Olsen who actively molded and shaped him into the up-and-coming shining martial art star he has become.  Through rigorous training and dedication, Shannon also helped promote the first multi-school seminar and demonstration in Sumter SC, as well as being one of the founding members in the South Carolina Martial Arts Association.
